When I saw a new venture from Oak Tree cottages while scrolling through Facebook, I was drawn to a new location in Norfolk we were yet to explore. A family-run business located in East Ruston, there are currently three beautifully decorated cottages available, catering for families of four or six plus four legged friends. After a couple of emails to the very helpful Lauren, we were set up for the second week of half term. Living in Norfolk, we are fully aware of all it has to offer visitors and like to have a staycation to reduce our carbon footprint and support our local economy. Also Craig moans a lot about driving. On arrival at Oak Tree Cottage in East Ruston we were pleased to find a beautifully decorated barn conversion with all we needed to chill out as a family of five for the week ahead, with the dreaded monopoly on hand and lots of DVDs for rainy days, we were set up.
