On arrival, 10 minutes prior to your event start time, you will receive a complimentary tea, coffee or cold drink. After meeting with the group and an introduction to the experience, your sea kayak guide will get you kitted out in wet-suits and safety equipment before showing you to your kayak. There will then be a safety briefing and tuition session on the use of the paddle and the kayak. After a short minibus journey to one of the favourite kayaking spots your adventure will begin. Starting in a quaint, sheltered harbour you will soon become used to sitting in your kayak and manoeuvring successfully. You will usually play some warm up games before you set out along the coast to explore the hidden delights of this sea kayaker’s paradise. During your coastal adventure you will learn about basic kayak strokes and get a real feel for what is an enjoyable hobby for many people. Upon your return to the Eco Lodge, the guides will ask you for help with rinsing the kit in their rain water tubs and then it’s the end of your half-day experience.
