Wakeboarding is the exciting water sport where snowboarding, surfing and skateboarding are combined. You will be on your board in the water and will be towed about the lake by a cable. You’ll first learn to balance on the board whilst kneeling and once you’ve mastered that you can learn to stand up and really get going. It’s so much fun that you may want to make this your new hobby. Your day need not end after your lesson though as the water sports centre has plenty of things to see and do after you’ve finished your lesson. Facilities include changing rooms with showers, a café and the Pro Shop. There’s a nearby gym and a restaurant, cycle trails -with bike hire, pedaloes, canoes and kayaks for hire as well as lakeside walks and bird feeding areas!
