Country Estate Overnight Break for Two

Reserve your Coniston Hotel break for the perfect rural retreat! The two of you will be lapping up the luxury and tranquility of this stunning Yorkshire estate on a overnight stay which includes meals and access to the beautiful spa too.

Sometimes you don’t have the time or the means to go away for a whole week. But if you head off somewhere really nice for a night it’s just as refreshing and invigorating – especially when it’s to a hotel as nice as the Coniston. Proudly family-owned and run it’s all about good old-fashioned customer service with a smile here which is what’ll make your break so pleasant.

It’s an impressive location for your hotel break too. The Coniston estate covers acres and acres of ‘God’s own country’ and it’s all right there as you gaze out of your hotel window after your invigorating morning shower or sit on the terrace sipping a tea. As well as that rolling countryside there’s a lovely lake and far-reaching views right over to the Pendle Hills. Look closely and you’ll see a delightful little boat house on the edge of the lake and maybe even a few sheep or cattle grazing on the hilltops around you.

Whilst outside it’s all very idyllic it’s a lovely mix of comfy and contemporary inside the Coniston. The spa which is in a separate purpose-built centre just next to the hotel is really smart. As well as the usual indoor swimming pool work-out gym (with 22 Lifefitness machines) and studio there’s also a whole ‘Thermal Suite’. This consists of a traditional sauna as well as a Himalayan salt sauna a steam room and indoor bubble pool.

But for the ultimate ‘wow’ factor step outside onto the Spa’s very own terrace where you’ll find the outdoor infinity edge bubble pool. Slide yourself in to those enticing warm bubbles and amaze yourself at the view – the water seems to seamlessly meet the horizon and will have you utterly captivated.

And we must mention the food at the Coniston’s Macleods restaurant. This break includes dinner and breakfast in the hotel’s eatery described as ‘fine dining without the unwanted fuss’. It’s all about local produce (including fish and game from the estate) and making everything from breads to chutneys in-house. This is traditional food with simple yet mouthwatering flavours championing Yorkshire produce coupled with that old-fashioned service we’ve been talking about on this Coniston Hotel break.
