This four star standard hotel is really quite unusual in that it brings alpine style to Berkshire with the impressive bright white facade and angular eaves the Coppid Beech is imposing to say the least. With over 200 rooms and suites it’s a nicely bustling and lively place rather than the bland anonymity of many international hotel brands.
Once inside you’ll be greeted by the friendly reception team who will check you in and guide you to your room. We are offering one or two night breaks here at the Coppid Beech on either a room and breakfast basis or half board with dinner in Rowans’s restaurant included.
Food is definitely a priority at this hotel. Rowan’s restaurant is where meals are served including a buffet-style breakfast which can only be described as a ‘very fine spread’ with all your continental pastry goodies included as well as your traditional cooked too. And yes you can have both if you’d like – and why not you’re on holiday aren’t you?
As for dinner you will be invited to choose your dishes from the market menu which celebrates classic modern British food with such delights as chicken liver pate oak smoked salmon breast of chicken with shallots and red wine or steamed codling for fish lovers all rounded off with a sponge or a cheesecake. Yum!
If you do get hit with guilt over the number of calories you’ve consumed it’s time to head to the lower ground floor where you’ll find Waves. This is the spacious fitness and health centre where you can work on those cardio resistance and strength machines as well as the free weights. However you could just dance the night away at the Apres night club* Bier Keller in that proper Tyrollean apres-ski style. And in fact you could even go skiing as the Bracknell PermaSnow ski slopes are just behind the Coppid Beech hotel!
