In the gothic age stained and fused glass was used to fill the large windows in the great cathedrals of Europe then during the renaissance period fused leaded and stained panes became a fashionable addition to residences public buildings and churches. The 19th Century saw the rise of the Tiffany style using intricate cuts and richly coloured glass which was soldered to create lampshades using copper instead of the traditional lead.

Since the Guild began designing and making its own stained and leaded glass windows in 1979 it has been at the cutting edge of glass in the UK. First you select your panels from the Guild’s eclectic range (including good old Bristol Blue stained glass).
