Activity Break Powys

Looking for a great value activity break near Welshpool? You’ve come to the right place. This outdoor centre right on the border of Wales (Powys) and England (Shropshire) boasts a superb location for a full day of all-action activities with overnight accommodation included.

Bulthy Farm is where all the activities take place. This is a traditional mid-Wales farm estate near Welshpool that has been transformed into a centre offering activity breaks. It is truly a lovely setting perched on the edge of the rolling hills of Powys with great views and great activities too.

So what will you be getting up to on these activity breaks around Shropshire? Well we have an action-packed programme that’ll see you driving shooting and running around all done with a huge smile on your face. You’ll be tackling quad biking laser clay shooting archery and paintball with an all you can eat BBQ lunch to refuel too.

With such extensive terrain on your doorstep the quad trek is as brilliant as you’d imagine. Up the hill ride the shoulder and down the other side before accelerating through the fields and along the hedgerows. Expect the unexpected as you could turn a corner into a water splash or find yourself trying to keep a grip on the handlebar as you bounce over a bunch of logs.

Same with the paintballing. You’ll need eyes all over to suss out what the enemy’s doing as you take part in tasks and trials to see who comes out victorious. Without doubt team work is the order of the day to stay safe in the paintball arena. After that the next two activities will have you looking for a dose of calm coolness and composure…

Yes archery and laser clay shooting are also included in these activity breaks (we told you this mid Wales venue was great value for money!). The concreted archery dug out is the perfect spot for trying to hit the bullseye whilst laser clays with those hills as your backdrop can’t be beaten.

And what we love about this activity break near Welshpool is that at the end of it all there’s no tiring journey home. You’ll be spending the night in a B&B or an inn nearby so you can shower and flop or hit the food and local ales in the hostelry’s bar and restaurant to continue the craic!
