At treetop extreme Milton Keynes you’ll be climbing jumping and swinging through the trees! This high-adrenaline tree top adventure course is right by Willen Lake – and it’s not for the faint-hearted!
We are offering a voucher for two of you to enjoy the ‘Extreme’ adventure course at Milton Keynes. This is the hardest of the three levels offered so it’s going to be a tough challenge but you’re made of strong stuff. You’ll need to keep your fears at bay and have a head for heights whilst you tackle this extreme route as it’s a dizzying 10m off the ground. That’s higher than a house!
Before you set off on your extreme adventures in amongst the trees there’ll be a welcome safety talk and briefing. You’ll then be fitted with a harness and shown how to use the belay system. What’s really clever at this Milton Keynes location is that it is a continuous line so there’s no un-clipping and re-fastening with each module you just keep sliding the karabiner along with you making it super fluid easy and safe.
The route starts as it means to go on with a feisty 10m climbing wall to the main tree top platform. This is where the routes start from. You’ll be heading off on the most extreme of them all but before you go take a moment to take in the view from here. You can see the lakes really well from where you’re standing.
So on you go. There’ll be wobbly wires tricky nets to tackle and logs to leap onto all of which will involve climbing scrambling and swinging. You’ll be moving across bridges along platforms and whizzing along zip wires as you go all the way round until you reach that start platform again.
From here the only way is down but you won’t be doing anything as simple as climbing down you’ll be freefall jumping from 13m. It’s a real achievement to complete this treetop extreme course in Milton Keynes and with a bit of support and encouragement from the staff if you need it we’re sure you’ll make it to the big jump at the end!

You won’t however be spending much time gazing at the finely manicured gardens you’ll be using all your powers of concentration to balance on the tree-top adventure courses.

Once you’ve got the hang of clambering around the low level obstacles you will move onto higher level adventure ropes courses to really get the adrenaline pumping. These awesome challenges include a Jacob’s Ladder a giant ladder rising into the trees the high beam log walk 11m above the ground and the leap of faith – a trapeze swing that’s even more thrilling when done in pairs.
The setting for the adventure course is stunning and after you’ve filled up on thrill in the trees why not visit the lovely Ripley castle. Embark upon an exciting Zip Wire experience in Hertfordshire! This family run outdoor events centre is located on a farm estate setting just north of Ware and offers lots of hair raising fun in a safe and professionally organised environment. There are two available; one for those aged between 16 and 65 years and a zip wires course that has been specially designed for children between the ages of 8 and 15 both of which provide one of the best zip wire UK set ups we have seen.
Throughout the adult course there are over 50 different high wire challenges for you to tackle including numerous zip wires which allow you to fully appreciate the zing of a rapid descent with the wind rushing past. Each one varies and increases in difficulty and height as you progress. The younger adventure seeker will be traversing ladders ropes and more all secured on platforms several feet above the ground on the specific kids’ course. When children conquer level one they’ll progress to the mid-level tasks – all higher off the ground and just that little bit scarier!

Set 10m high just climbing up there to access the start point will take nerves of steel yet the feeling of the zap as you go hurtling across this wire thread is unbeatable. The zip wire – UK-designed and made from highly durable heavy duty cable – extends 150m providing a totally invigorating experience that thrill seekers will just adore. Once safely attached via your harness it’s away you go as you zip at a rate of knots along the wire. If you are brave enough to do it without closing your eyes your zip line ride will offer an unrivalled view of the beautiful river Rib valley and the stunning surrounding countryside from a breathtaking height!
