Cyantist Escape Room Bournemouth

Cyantist Escape Room Bournemouth

An escape room in Bournemouth all about science! Think more crazy scientist rather than complicated formulae as you and your team try to solve the clues and break out of your room in under 60 minutes.

There are two different Cyantist escape rooms for you to choose between. The Clockwork Orange is a perfect introduction if you’ve never done an escape room before. It’s science-themed and requires solving logical and mechanical puzzles that involve water and air pressure too. We won’t tell you any more than that in case we give anything away…

The slightly harder game here in Bournemouth is the Science Lab. The story here is that you’ve come into contact with a leaky barrel of sodium cyanide. It might a chemical used in industry but it’s highly toxic and one of the most rapidly acting of all poisons. There’s no time to waste then as you seek to solve the puzzles and find the antidote.

The setting for both games is very much ‘abandoned lab’ style. You’ll come face to face with everything from lasers and mirrors to mathematical puzzles and padlocks in your quest to escape. If you get stuck there may be a mysterious lab assistant lurking around who may be able to help but in essence you’re in the locked room by yourselves and it’s up to you to work your way out!

We are offering vouchers for two four or six of you to enter the room of your choice together. All sessions are timed giving you an hour to work through the puzzles and challenges to then release yourself out of the lab. Be warned it’s going to be dark dank and murky in there so keep your wits about you!

Have you and your team got what it takes to beat the Cyantist escape rooms in Bournemouth? Book a slot and see if you can work it all out before your 60-minutes is up.

Sherlock: The Game is Now Escape Room with Dining

Sherlock: The Game is Now Escape Room with Dining

Looking for the Sherlock escape room? Well as Holmes himself would say: ‘The art of disguise is knowing how to hide in plain sight’. If you can find Doyle’s Opticians (established in 1859) you’re in the right place to start your Sherlock Holmes adventure in London.

This immersive Sherlock experience is the crème de la crème of escape rooms. Devised by Time Run in association with BBC’s ‘Sherlock’ creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss this is as immersive and cinematic as escape rooms get. Time to don your deerstalker and be detective.

You’re in the opticians. The game is now. Stay alert. You’re part of the Network now. As you’re ushered through the opticians Holmes will welcome you into the 221b Baker Street flat he shares with John Watson. Moriarty is up to his devilish tricks again. Will you solve the mystery in time and escape? Tick tock tick tock the time on the clock is ticking and you’ve got 100 minutes to get out.

As a team of four you’ll work your way through successive rooms solving clues puzzles and mysteries as you go. You’ll hear from the likes of Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman and meet some interesting characters as you go. You’ll totally feel like you’re part of the story submerged in the world of Sherlock Holmes – and the attention to detail is amazing.

Once you’ve cracked it you’ll emerge in a rather familiar setting. At the Mind Palace it’s a mix of Sherlock Holmes speakeasy and private cocktail club. This is where you’ll be able to chew over the fat and discuss how you and your team did in the face of the Moriarty threat over pizza and a drink or over afternoon tea.

Described by those who have already played as the ‘best ever’ this Sherlock escape room is not to be missed. You might be in a shopping centre in London but nothing is quite as it seems. Isn’t it time you booked an appointment at the optician’s? It’s the place where you can see but most people just don’t observe…

Take on a series of puzzles and challenges as you move through the rooms of this incredible indoor adventure which really will see you going around the world in those 80 days!

Author Jules Verne created Phileas Fogg as an eccentric explorer and adventurer in the Victorian era. After reading a newspaper article that claims travelling all the way around the world is possible in 80 days Phileas bets his life savings that he can do it. Only problem is Scotland Yard thinks he might be implicated in a Bank of England heist so Detective Fix is dispatched to follow Fogg on his adventure.

You’ll be joining Fogg as he explores the world with Fix hot on his heels. The spectacular interactive adventure starts at the train station and as you move through the sets you’ll be faced with physical skill and mental tasks. Solve them and you’ll be rewarded with artefacts all with the aim of impressing Her Royal Highness Queen Victoria.

We won’t disclose exactly what you’ll be doing during your voyage of discovery but you’ll be marvelling at Egyptian tombs negotiating the jungle passing through jail and even heading straight for a vortex. What on earth was Phileas Fogg thinking when he took off on his adventure?

This fanciful world has been created by some very talented set designers who also worked on the likes of the Harry Potter James Bond and Star Wars film sets. The attention to detail is remarkable and really brings the out the magic. You’ll meet lots of larger than life characters on your journey many of whom are not adverse to a good bit of comedy banter and ad-lib humour. It really is a lot of fun.

Our Phileas Fogg World of Adventure vouchers are valid for the adult or the family journey. Those with children aged between three and 14 will love the family route where kids get to leap about play and solve the easier puzzles. Blackpool Tower Ballroom & Afternoon Tea for Two

Blackpool Tower Ballroom & Afternoon Tea for Two

Glitz glamour music dancing – and scones. These are the key ingredients of your Blackpool Tower afternoon tea! Spend a rather lovely afternoon whirling your partner around the dance floor or just sit and enjoy watching the dancers all whilst tucking into a classic English afternoon tea.

The Blackpool Tower Ballroom is iconic. It’s a true work of art adorned with gold-coloured plasterwork intricate mouldings and distinctive scalloped-shaped balconies. The ballroom is a tall and very beautiful room that’s the beating heart of the famous Blackpool Tower. And for these afternoon teas the tempo comes from the wonderful sound of the Wurlitzer organ being played live for you.

And whilst it may be daytime outside inside the ballroom the house lights are dimmed and the floor and stage is illuminated by a magical light show. It’s sure to get you in the mood for dancing. Indeed as you’re shown to your table on the edge of the dance floor it’ll be hard to resist the music. Sweep your partner off their feet for a romantic Waltz or whisk them round for a nimble quickstep on that very bouncy sprung floor. If that all sounds too energetic (or indeed you’re not really a dancer at all) just sit and soak up the atmosphere marvelling at the moves as others dance.

Your afternoon tea in the ballroom will be served at your table. It’s the tradition platter of sweet and savoury goods all washed down with a nice cup of tea or coffee. It’s like stepping back in time to an era when a tea dance was the place to go and where many a romance started long before online dating came along!

So many things make this outing special. All the staff are fantastic and really helpful the music is truly uplifting and it’s delightful to watch or participate in some ‘proper’ dancing in pairs. We think heading to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom for afternoon tea and a bit of a dance is even better than watching the pros dancing in the Strictly Come Dancing Blackpool special!
