Ahoy there! ‘Titanic’ is coming to Movies on the River this week and next

Throughout this summer Time Out’s Movies on the River has been offering Londoners the unique experience of a Thames cruise followed an open-air screening – all on a river boat with amazing views.

Movies on the River is now entering its last two weeks, and the final two Saturdays, September 1 and 8, will see Thames screenings of none other than the swooning epic ‘Titanic’. How else to mark the end of an incredible summer of movies than with this romantic, multiple-Oscar-winner starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet? And the best thing about it? The watery drama will stay strictly on screen while you curl up safely with friends, loved ones, a drink and a blanket under the night sky.

Visitors to Movies on the River take a short cruise through the centre of the city, before docking up to watch the night’s movie in view of the capital’s most famous sights. The last two weeks of Movies on the River offer several other much-loved romantic films: ‘Grease’, ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ and ‘La La Land’ are all showing. Other screenings include ‘Top Gun’ and recent Oscar-winner ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’.

This is your last chance to jump on board Movies on the River until summer 2019 – and if you want to act like Leo and Kate and recreate that famous ‘Titanic’ moment on the ship’s bow, nobody is going to stop you.

Come sail with us!

Grab your tickets here for ‘Titanic’ and other films at Movies on the River – starting at £29.
