The choice of places to eat in London is huge and it makes it really difficult to stick to one place as there’s always so much more to explore. So whenever I find myself going to the same restaurant quite frequently it’s a sign it’s a pretty good one!
One of those places is The Barbary, a North African restaurant paying homage to the culinary traditions of the countries from the Atlantic Coast through to the Mediterranean Sea leading to the Middle East. The menu includes a variety of small plates to share with plenty of the dishes cooked on coals and grilled to perfection.
The Barbary is one of these places where you can sit at the bar and witness the preparation of the food in their open kitchen. I love this because it really makes you appreciate and anticipate your food even more. Apart from the food, as a wine lover, I really appreciate their wine selection too! Always a good choice of wine by the glass and bottles too!
It’s a notoriously difficult place to get a table at so do book in advance, it’s worth it!
