When I was a freelancer, cafe spotting was my life. I would travel to different parts of London just to find a cosy spot to drink my cup of tea with a fresh pastry and bum the wifi to get some graphic design work done. At one point, I was coming to this café every day just to enjoy the relaxing ambiance and had much inspiration looking at the quirky decorations such as the sparkly disco ball and the array of bikes hung on the walls.
Look Mum No Hands boasts as both a café, bar and bike repair shop servicing anything from tyre punctures to full body repairs. It may seem like an odd mix for a café but surprisingly, it adds to the casual cosiness of the space. It is obviously bike-friendly and has both indoor and outdoor seating depending on what you’re feeling for the day. So if you’re nearby and need a pick-me-up, this is just the place.
