There was a time when I used to say that I don’t like sushi. Yes, I know – it’s a crime that I ever thought I could live without it. My husband actually said to me, “This has got to change, otherwise this isn’t gonna work.”
The trick is you have to have quality sushi and try it from a place that specialises in the craft. Otherwise, you might try it at the all-you-eat-buffet and feel a bit put off by it (true story). That is why Sticks’n’Sushi is the top of the line and my favourite place for sushi in London. The menus are very visual, which makes it quite easy to pick what variety of sushi you’d like to try. If you are a party of two or more I suggest getting one of the larger platters as you can try many different rolls and the presentation is just outstanding. There are a few locations but I have come to know the one in the Canary Wharf quite well.
