Redemption Roasters – Coffee with a cause

I am a big advocate for businesses with a mission, which means I immediately fell in love with Redemption Roasters for their strong mission, big social impact, and great coffee of course!

Redemption Roasters started as a roastery back in 2016 when the founders were approached by the Ministry of Justice to set up a roastery in a prison to train residents and reduce reoffending rates. Since then the founders have gone even further in the mission to help prison residents by establishing an academy to teach practical skills in coffee roasting, production, and logistics and also offering support in finding work upon release!

Set aside the social cause, Redemption is an excellent coffee shop and offers everything you’d expect from a specialty coffee shop – cosy atmosphere, great coffee, an excellent brunch menu, and good wifi if you want to get some work done. Being located on Lamb’s Conduit Street which is one of the most charming streets in London (at least in my opinion) is a bonus too!
